please help about swimming tips?
At school swimming classes i don’t know how to slide into the pool and not get your head wet. I do know how to do it but i can’t do it. You have to turn over onto your belly with you feet still in the water and then slide in still holding onto the side (which is super slippy) and get in without your head touching the water. The thing is i can’t roll over onto my belly i always fall in if i do that and i get my head wet. Also i don’t feel confident enough to jump into the deep end and i want to do it because everyone can do it apart from me. Do you have any tips on how to do it and how to make me more confident?

Within days you will notice the effects of swimming on your body, you will start losing fat and will go down in inches. But you might not do so well on the scale here is why. When you swim your body burns the fat, but that fat converts itself to muscle. We all know that muscle is weighs more then fat so therefore you might be heavier on the scale, but that does not matter because you will definitely look leaner and fitter.
Nobody wants to have all that jiggling fat on their body so if you are concerned about that buy your self a new swim suit and dive in at your nearest swimming pool.
It is not necessary to start with 30 laps a day as long as you feel you have used your muscles enough, you can end your days workout. But make sure you set challenges for your self every single day increase 5 laps. The results after swimming will not only be noticed by you but spotted by everyone.
Often people complain that swimming makes them crave food more, so a small tip is the minute you get out of the pool have 2 glasses of water. This will cut down your desire to have food and space out till you have your meal.
Make sure you eat a healthy diet while you swim so that you lose weight and feel great.

I swim for the SUSS (Shelby United States Swimming) team, the Sharks, and I have my first long-course meet this weekend. I am nervous! i think i will be the most nervous when I get on the blocks and see 50 yards of water in front of me because i have never even seen a long course pool, let alone raced in one. It is also my first 13 and older meet.

Swimming exams coming next Monday. Do you have any tips? Mostly about breaths.
I can manage around 20 metres with the first breath, but then I panic and I can’t hold the rest breaths for more than 3 metres each!
My record is 40 seconds for 50 metres, but I aim to drop by 5 seconds hopefully.
